In a seemingly brilliant move to cut out the middle man, Namco-Bandai has just unleashed their first set of DLC for Tales of Vespiria. They offer some run-of-the-mill stuff, like weapon sets, but the real interest here are two specific pieces:
Now, for these to come out in the North American market, sure. You white devils have suddenly evolved past the need to grind in JRPGs, as heard by your very vocal disdains. But in the land of the rising sun, where people have treaded on the brink of death for grinding and loved every minute of it, I'm a little bit baffled! What Japanese player would buy these? Or maybe I'M the asshole and I'm totally off the mark in this situation.

I have to admit, if they had this for DQ 8, I totally would have done it so I could beat all of the dragovian king's forms and get that badass armor for the Hero. I still don't know what it looks like because I promised I'd never look at it until I earned it myslef. But of course, I've never bothered to even try.
